Answer: The whole universe is designed exclusively for Samus! Doesn't she feel special.

I like how in TP when you go to the fishing hole and look at the pots on the shelves she says "can you believe there are people who just go into people's houses and break their pots?"

Games should be able to make fun of the ridiculous parts of them. I remember seeing a message in Doom 3 "Please someone tell me why we are leaving explosive barrels all over the place, they are extremely dangerous!"

Just for once, I would like to see Samus read a pirate trooper log that said "why the hell do we secure this area with ball bomb slots? We can't even use the damn things!"

Haha awesome, to answer the question: "Obviously you roll into a sphere and activate the golem again causing him to do wall jumps back up to the top....duh!"

Seriously though, if I remember correctly the vast majority of cities and temples etc were all built by the chozo a while back and they have since died off. Since samus has one of their suits she has access to their secure areas etc. Its far from a great rationale but its good enough for the game to be very fun =)

Games have been mocked for their lack of realism since their inception. I enjoy those that can do so in a witty and humorous fashion.
