Forums - Sales Discussion - How many consoles would a game need to push to be a "SYSTEM SELLER"

Well the question is in the title. Many games have been touted a system seller over the years. But what is the true system seller? How many consoles must ve pushed by the game. It can be just a hufe 1 week spike. or a modest boost to weekly sales for a extended period of time?

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

i think it has to increasse the console sale by at least 100k. and they would have to buy the game at the same time as the console.

MGS4 is a console seller.

50 Million?

Put it this way:

People argue whether or not Wii Sports is a system seller, depending on how much they want to believe that it doesn't matter.

So the answer is "more than any console game has ever pushed a console in the history of ever".

oh come on hit me with a number or at least a game that just about qualifies as a system seller
