Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Do you intend to buy ExciteBots: Trick Racing?

I'll likely get this at some point, if I come into some fundage.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

This.

Excite Truck controls are not broken, people that say that are just noobs.

Never played ExciteTruck but I am in your boat.

I'll probably get it if the ratings are in the 80's or higher. Not sure if I'll get it at release though, that depends on how fast I'm getting through Okami, and if I want another Sonic game although I am currently playing one since Sonic Unleashed and The Black Knight are pretty high in my "games to get" list currently.

Not gonna happen.

You play poker, bowling and throw pies at clown while racing...this game is not serious enough for reviewers.

Probably not. I didn't enjoy Excite Truck too much, but that was probably more due to my awkwardness with the steering (it was one of the first wii games I rented). At any rate, I think Mario Kart is enough racing for me.

Excite Truck was a great game.  It was just plain and simple fun.

Well I'm not talking about metacritic here but about my Nintendo-only gaming mag and some german websites which I know long enough to see how they get their ratings, and if they represent the fun-factor I'd have good enough. The original Excite Truck received about 86 % in the magazine if I remember correctly, so I expect the sequel to get about the same score if Monster Games didn't mess it up.
