So, just listened the Blizzcast and I only got more and more angry about D3.

-Skill system has become like WoW's

-Inventory has become like WoW's

- No potions (I know mobs will drop health, but there's a world of difference between starting with a potion and hoping for a drop)

-Predetermine stats, you no longer get to allocate them yourself.

and now Barbarians use rage, errr.... I meant fury, instead of energy.

Next thing I know the melee stealth class they announce will use energy....

I don't want a top down WoW I want an effing Diablo game.....

You know what's sad? I saw the blizzcast on the WoW page, and at a quick glance I thought it had to do with WoW because of the screenshots. Then I saw the weird inventory and I thought they were talking about user addons. Not until I made it larger did I notice it was Diablo.

I'm getting worried about Blizzard.

.......yes what the fuck is blizzard doing.. So far all they seem to have done is take things from world of warcraft and replace diablo things with them

Funny thing is that people will bitch and bitch and bitch, but when this game drops it will be awesome. I have faith that the changes being made will enhance the experience of Diablo. WoW does really good, so if the devs incorporate some of it here and there it just might work.

I mean I like wow... but i'd rather have a diablo that is a diablo...

now if they want to make an "Adventures of Thrall" game as a diablo like that reaks of WoW, i'd gladly buy it.... but keep diablo as diablo...

i completely disagree. I think WoW is successful because of its interface to the general consumer....all of the user mods enhanced it but if blizz listened to the community and is implementing what works why would that be bad?

i love it, now they just need to start expanding into the idea of making the interface work on consoles and ill orgasm.

Hmm, first they make Starcraft 2 into 3 games and now this. Hopefully they will get their act together but I'm starting to doubt that now.

from what I recall, in diablo you use the mouse to move and do actions.... in WOW, you use the mouse to look... the two games are different and thus the interface should not be the same.

this is not a MMO, it's dumb to have skill trees where you won't use 3/4 of the skills because you have limited points.... what if every character rocks? it's not about PVP balance so there is no problem with you kicking ass... monsters can be boosted health wise.
