well treyarch hates the wii so no surprise here.

Treyarch loves the Wii.  Infinity Ward does not.

anyways they should release it on the wii they will make a nice profit.

Whether or not the Wii version of WAW made a profit. If they think their limited resources are better spent making the Xbox 360/PS3/PC versions better rather than adding another SKU then they are perfectly entitled to do just that.

This. It would only be stupid of them if they have a spare team sitting around twittling their thumbs. But a wii port would still require a team to make it, and that team may very well be invested in other projects that they feel can better suit their goals than selling 1 million on wii. Saying "That's a stupid move" really makes alot of assumptions, or else there are alot of people here that now exactly what is going on at Activision, their finances, where the money is allocated to, their long term and short term goals, the projects they have in the works, the demands of shareholders ect ect ect.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I think the Wii version is in development, but it's farmed out to Data Design or some shit.

At the very least this will happen. However I don't think it'll be a half-assed effort, not AAA, but as good as WaW at least.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

But it could sell 11-13 million copies as opposed to 10-12 million.  Lot'sa people only own a Wii.  I think that's what he's saying.

Concidering their limited staff i'd be a waste of manpower that could be used on other things, concidering that version would have to be so different.

COD4 still sells well to this day, Infinity Ward just not bothering putting resources for an extra 2 million sales...........yes 2 million sales being ignored really does show how big the franchise is.

You're talking about Activision though. The publisher that is well known for spreading every project they have accross as many platforms as possible, and is faring quite well in the recession actually. If anything they would drop one of their many lesser projects for a near guaranteed million seller that can share some assets and use a recently developed game engine.

QFT

I really don't understand this hostile attitude from many wii fans whenever devs don't make games for it..

then again judging by our reaction to S-E's moves lately....maybe Wii fans are entitled to object

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

It wouldn't be that hard to develop a game for the Wii considering they already have the engine from WaW (which I think is the same engine from the Bond game).
