It better be a joke, I don't want Nintendo to remake it because there's already the Virtual Console game. Nintendo else start to look like a Square Enix with their ports and remakes. I want a new Zelda!

Meh! OoT doesn't need an update, it's already available on disc(with WindWaker) or on VC for Wii and it's perfectly fun, graphics or no. Make a new game ffs, I hate this culture of remakes.

I don't see any point in remaking OoT. Why play the same game you probably already have on VC? Now if they want to reuse the Orcarina that would be fine. Incorporate a bit of Wii Music into the gameplay but it has to be a new Zelda title. Zelda games all tend to be the same anyway even without a 'remake'

I really hope not. Seems like an inefficient use of resources, even if it is widely regarded as the best game of all time.

They said that the next Zelda would have to be something completely different, that the old formula wouldn't cut it. Since OoT is basically that formula, I get the feeling this is not the real Zelda Wii.
