Sometime in the first week of January would be a great time to release Wii Fit. Except for my gaming budget will not have recovered from the hit its about to take.

True; I will have gone bankrupt too

They need to bring it out before Christmas, it's the perfect present for all the fat biffas and heffamooses!

 Yus!

But... it doesn't matter, as Jan. 1, 2008 is a Tuesday.

I'm going to go with Wii Fit @ $70 with a second Balance Board for $40.

Seems like an odd time to bring it out.. not a bad price though -- i'm a little worried about what it'll cost here in australia, by ratio, that means it'll be around $140

that early? wow, that pretty much means we know just one other 1st party game (mario kart!) that's gonna be released spring 2008.

though you're right, january does seem like a good time for something like wii fit.

I'm pretty sure I had to work at best buy last new years. Stores are still open.

I'm leery of this until I see more stuff using it. It's innovative like the wii mote with wii sports... but EVERY game required the mote.

I'm gonna get the Wiiboard for sure. I just know that a snowboarding game is around the corner and it will be a blast. I really enjoyed SSX when I had a gamecube and snowboarding on a big ass TV will be divine.

If that's true, you'd think they'd just slap an extra guy on the team and get it out by Christmas. I was pretty surprised from the start to hear they weren't going to make a holiday deadline, seems like a big opportunity to miss.

They may not wish to dilute the existing holiday lineup.
