Unfortunately there will always be people that like to bitch about anyting, but I tend to think most people like our reviews, at least as a feature of the site, and as VGC continues to grow people will have to accept that they're there.

 

Well let me put it this way, i like the written part of the reviews. They are very in depth and well written. Its the score I don't always agree with. So many obscure games get high scores that may not always be deserved, while some very popular games get left in the dust with low scores.

opinions, assholes - everyone has them, and most of the time they stink pretty bad.



Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Ah well, reviews are always one person's opinion anyway. They're more of an indication whether a game is good or not, who cares of a game got .1 point more than another, seriously. :s "Boo-hoo, someone rated a casual diving game higher than my beloved hardcore action-RPG!!"

Well. You should know one thing mister: In several reviews HYPE gives a game +10-20% more score than it deserves on most review sites.
Gta iv for example. Halo 3 for example. Bioshock for example. And I could go on. But then again some fanboys might be angry because when a game is a AAA game, it is an AAA game. (in they`re minds).

When will VGchartz reviews be on Metacritics?

that is what happens, in fact each review gets edited multiple times

 

 

Exactly.  We have a staff board separate from the main site where all reviews are posted before being put up here.  The entire staff has a chance to look at them and make comments, and we're not allowed to publish them until the content edittors approve what's written.  Sometimes there are big changes, sometimes everyone agrees, but trust me, some of them get hung up for a long time.  



Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
