I love this question.

Well simple.

N64 was much greater in it's power. Could handle a lot more objects and did far better rendering.

PS1 however had a greater diversity in software and much more accessible to the larger market.

So your choice really. Greater diversity in library or more power. Me I choose a greater diversity of games and game play :) So PS1.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I liked my PS1, but the N64 just has so many fond memories. Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox, Mario 64, all the good stuff...

PS1 DEFINIETLY!!!!

64 mainly because of Mario, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye also when friends and family came over (same with the PS1)

Favorite films. Foreign films forever!

N64 hands down for what it did for the industry and honorable mentions to the PS1 for diversifying the market.

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.
