You can have 4 players in Strikers...there's plenty going on in that game too...graagh. I'm just gonna try to forget about online Brawl.

Good find. I agree though that it doesn't bode too well for Brawl. I just hope that if it is bare bones like Strikers that it gets the skill matching better than that game's as most matches I play I'm either way better than my opponent or not as good(or cheap!!). I've not played SSB since the N64 and I don't want to be matched with seasoned pros before I find my feet.

All this "September Surprise" stuff is getting to me though.

Brawl was stated by Sakurai in '06 to be Nintendo's premiere demonstration of the online gaming for Wii. I realize things have changed, and I doubt Brawl will be flaunted as such...sounds like Mario Kart took its place. But Nintendo had been working on online for Brawl...I'm sure they still are. I'm 75% sure Brawl will have 4 player online.

Actually, Iwata was the one who made that promise back in 2005, if I remember correctly.

I am 50% certain that Brawl will not have online, and 90% certain that, if it does, it will be 1vs1.

I really don't see the probelm with the FC thing... Isn't it like a gamertag, but with numbers?

My only real complaint is that each game has different, specific ones. THAT is annoying. (Unless that IS the complaint)

Yeah...different codes for each game is annoying...hopefully they'll stop doing that...some games just use the regular friend codes, like Metroid.

I don't really have a problem with friend codes...the thing for entering in the code is very big, so you just move the Wiimote and enter in the code easily...takes 10 seconds...then you enter their name for another 10 seconds, and you're done. You see their names on your list...you pick their name out and play...big deal.

Lets hope they do online better this time, from what i've heard and seen the online for strikers was very jumpy. Would one of you guys please tell me what exactly the friend codes are, can you only play against people that you have added or something?
