Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Intrested in giving Fable II a try, but I don't know anything about Fable.

But if you change it every week how will I know who you are?

Because I use a pattern of the same type of avatars: Daphne Rosen, a character from whatever game I'm into at the time, a something from a fighting game.

@starcraft:

That's very short. This sounds like a Mass Effect type of RPG from what you're saying. I thought Fable was a JRPG.

No its a WRPG

Fable is by no means a JRPG, it is a WRPG in the same vein as Mass Effect and Fallout 3.

I see. Thanks for letting me know this. I would have been so mad if I bought this game.

You don't need to play the first before the second. IMO neither one was that good though, but some people really love it.

 Its fighting style is more akin to something like Kingdom Hearts, though.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

np dude, no worries. Tons of JRPG's on the 360, just go get one of those if you have a hankering for some JRPGness.

Also you have a PS2 and don't own Persona 3 or 4, you should fix that if you want to play a JRPG.

...

fable 2 is about 8 hours long, it makes you want to play it three times.
It has nice achievments.
in fable you hsve to solve riddles, explore many dungens, and interact with people....

I heard Persona 4 was innovative. I usually try and stay away from gimmicky stuff that does something different not for quality, but just for the sake of being different and hype (aka Wii games). Does Persona 4 stick to JRPG roots that make the genre so great while putting it's own personal touches on it, or is it just go by the hype of innovation like FFXII? I afraid to take chance, because I don't know the series very well.

Will VGchartz be reviewing it any time soon? That would be a big help.
