Nope. Madworld will stop selling this week and that will tell all developers to halt all their games and kiddify them. I'm looking to dismembering jigglypuffs on Dead Space :D

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

Is that really true? Or is it just a tease?
Madworld has the same problems than Okami. Is a very artistic and extremly hardcore game that only a few really enjoy.
What were you expecting?
@OP - Yes there will be more. But M games =/=good games so honestly I don't care.

I suppose you do have a point. Aside from RE titles, isn't there something like Cursed Mountain coming up? That game looked pretty promising from what I saw of it. How about Fatal Frame IV? I know, it's a last-year release, but if it comes to America, that'll be another to look forward to.

Yes they look promising and they may perform better than Madworld. They seem to be more attractive to the common videogame user.
Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that MW is a bad game (that I can't tell). But from a customer POV, if I see the trailer for MW my first thought will be "that's stupid". Over the top violence, comic monochromatic art, black humor..that's not something that the common user would like. On the other hand, I think that a game like The conduit will have a better reception because it has a more familiar look (more sci fi and movie like) like Gears or wars or Halo.
I never expected MW to break a record. But I guess that like No more heroes it will sell well eventually.

True. And like others have echoed, Wii game sales DO have legs.
1m copies of CoDWaW says otherwise.
MadWorld is pretty atypical and still early. If it has legs it can still hit a million easy as well. Look at RE4 or CoDWaW for comparison.

Me too. Also I'd like use water guns and ballons instead of rifle and grenades. Family Shooters FTW! |
Are you aware that one of Hudson's upcoming projects is a 'first person soaker?'

That's true too, maybe I'm just overreacting. I take things WAY too literally and out of context, particularly negative signs. Didn't mean to cause trouble. :( **feels like a fool**
