Forums - Gaming Discussion - I'm selling my PS3 for the DSi

I think it is a really BAD choice, but it is up to you. With games like MGS4, Uncharted, DMC4, NGS, LBP, KZ2, RE5, SFIV, MS:PR, among many others; I cant understand why you want a ds :S

But as I said it´s your choice.

Have you played any game other than Uncharted?

 Yes, I've tried Motorstorm, too.

Those were the games I was interested in. They were cool, but not worth the price tag.

Any other games? Have you tried opening up a Gamefly account? It's a good thing to have if you lack money.

You know I never looked at the Gamefly--->lack money analogy. I might take that in consideration one of these days. Renting seems like a ideal choice for me instead of actually owning a specific game and never play it.

BOth are excellent systems but I would do the same probably. Mostly because I don't justify 60 dollar games when you get can get a great ds game for 30 or cheaper.

lol your loss

I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you not too.

While I don't agree that he should only play two games then sell a console, I would choose a DS over a PS3, Wii, or 360 or any of those combined any day. Especially when I could use the extra money to buy tons of the DS games. That is just a response to those who say they don't understand why, or think he is crazy for choosing a DS over a PS3. The library is just so much more massive and appealing to me and probably many others. I think he should have never bought a PS3 though if he was just going to play to games. He should have just rented or borrowed from a friend.

I think you should keep your PS3 and save up the bucks to get your DSi as soon as possible. I am sure you are not getting a DSi to "replace" your PS3. What is it that you think you are going to get out of a DSi, that you are not getting from your PS3? Portability for someone who travels alot would be a nice feature I guess. The DSi is sure to be a great handheld. I just think that consoles and handhelds compliment each other. Sometimes, like when your at work or traveling, only a handheld will do, but other times when you are sitting on your couch and wanting to get in some death matches with your friends, a console does the job really nicely. I am sure you will do what you want, but you would be better served to try and keep both systems.

I recommend it especially if you're the type who beats the game once and never plays it again. I've been with Gamefly for 9 months and never had a problem with them.
