I have a couple predictions on the newly announced zelda game.

i think it will be a prequel to TWW, where hyrule gets flooded at the end of the game,

leading into wind waker.

let me think, probably gonna include a young boy named link and some sort of sword...

what really intrigues me is the trains, Nintendo seems to be letting the series slip a little ahead of the "Medieval" times that zelda is usually set in. God I hope you can get some sort of gun, maybe a crossbow like Link's crossbow training.

Although this could lead to people wanting a zelda fps which would be the worst thing ever.

Judging by the sales of PH and the fact that the DSi is launching this year and the increased install base of the DS I'm hoping for 5mil+ sales eventually.

Wind Waker prequel

Link will be a playable character (I'm sticking with safe predictions)

It would be disappointing if this is a Wind Waker prequel. It should take place after Phantom Hourglass on a gigantic island they find far out in the sea.

I kind of want it to be a new Toon Link. I want it to take place in a time not yet connectible to the Zelda universe (maybe takes place after or before the new unannounced Wii Zelda game?)
