Does a new Zelda DS mean no Zelda Wii?

I would much rather have Zelda Wii than Zelda DS. Since resources were used for a new Zelda for DS does that mean a Zelda Wii title will be farther in the future?

I seriously doubt it. There are going to be two very different teams working on the two games. I believe that we will se an announcement on the Wii Zelda at E3.

Well this new DS game is supposed to release sometime this year, so no, I wouldn't expect Nintendo to release a Wii Zelda in 2009 as well. That'll probably come in 2010, if I had to guess.

They could also be working on a Wii Zelda simulataneously. Isn't the Zelda team pretty huge? I'm also pretty sure DS games are developed by pretty small teams.
