^ crap, there is NO WAY that will be as accurate when pointing at the screen.

Actually, there is EVERY way it will be MORE accurate.  The IR pointer is an old and slow technology.  Why else is it that the pointer on the screen does not move in 1:1 perfect unison with the remote?  This new device is much more accurate.  I'm sorry to burst your bubble though.

Well mine moves 1:1---maybe you need new batteries or need to adjust your sensors

Also you might want to note that the wii motion + adds the second ref point which will make it just as if not more accurate then what you have described

shit no. I don't want to get one and have all the wii fanboys saying "you guys are copiers! Our console is so much better that you have to steal out ideas"

no

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Eww no

The Wiimote was the reason I stopped using the Wii.

So in other words it does not currently do 1:1 motion.  The reaction time is too slow, currently.

definitely not

just buy a Wii lol, this is a silly question, a hardcore gamer owning multiple systems is normal.
