really curious about these stats.
Oblivion and Bioshock are 2 games the PC version will give the X360 version a real fight at retail.

Maybe Oblivion, but I get the feeling the 360 version of Bioshock is annihilating its PC counterpart.

Most outlets are saying that for every ten copies of Bioshock sold, eight are for consoles.
and i suppose the PC versions crappy copy protection is not helping matters

in UK, X360 version was 1st and PC version 4th the first week
In Germany PC version was 1st and X360 version was 6th.
But you have to consider that PC version is available on Steam, so many hardcore pc gamers are buying it there.
interesting stats, any idea on the U.S PC Vs. 360 sales
does anyone track digital downloads ???
Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>
no, unfortunately digital downloading is not tracked. This means PC market is greatly understimated (considering that Steam alone has more than 13 million of active users)

You would think that Valve would release the numbers... show everyone that online distrubtion is the way to go (unless the numbers aren't very impressive).
If they release the numbers, and it is doing well, many more developers would jump on Steam.
I think developers know the numbers. General public don't.
And may developers have already jumped on Steam. Activision, 2KGames, Id Software, THQ, Eidos, Relic...
