After a rather slow and murky start, behind the PSP even, the DS breaks a huge milestone: 100 million handhelds sold!

I'd like to congratulate it... it has accomplished LOTS in every genre (especially JRPG), and today, brings the best bang for your handheld gaming money. It's my favorite among PSP and DS.

Hopefully it continues to sell, and sell well. I enjoy the console a lot and would like to see even more support for it!

I always find it amazing how the DS changed it's situation. When it first came out, most people were interested in the PSP. How its sales exploded after the DS Lite and the whole Touch Generations campaign was just amazing, I dunno where it could end!

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

I'm gonna get a DSi too - even though I just bought my DSLite last October. That increased screen size is just too sexy to pass up.

But congrats to the DS! Can't wait for it to pass the PS2 and be the supreme champion of all game systems! It deserves it. What a great system.
