DAMN the Wii is on fire! Overall from what games I've seen so far. The Wii has ALOT of good looking games in all genres right now! I would say that the Wii has a very slight lead over the 360 in overall game genres. PS3 on the other hand need to get alot of work done.

Nintendo and Microsoft is where its at for 2007.

If you think about it....it kinda makes you think what could possibly beat these lineups in 2008. My GOSH!!!

SSB is so different from other fighters...it's almost unfair to count it...

have to go with the wii, an actual 2d hand drawn fighter over takes any quantity of 3d fighters, the xbox360 might be getting ffs, but the fatal fury series was pretty lame until real bout

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is almost certainly going to be the best selling fighting game of all time, as well as possibly the first one to hit 10 million. That sounds insane, but Melee did almost 7M on the Gamecube, and the hype is getting pretty insane.

Of course it isn't coming out in 2007 as far as Europe is concerned. -_-

 which is the reason why it's so great. 

SSBB Best fighting game of 2007, maybe even best overall game 2007. If it's released 2008 in Europe, it's easily the best fighting game of 2008 too. Enough said.

BTW Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been 3D from the start.

Wii... but that's because SSBB can't be touched by anything else in the genre. It's really not fair.  It's 3D btw... beautiful, gorgeous, detailed 3D. 

definatly wii. Although SSBB is rendered in 3D, i don't see how you can count it as a 3D fighter since you can't move into/out of the screen.

I could have sworn Smash Bros is a 2D fighter. Isn't there only one plane to attack on, as opposed to Soulcalibur, Tekken or Virtua Fighter? To me it looks like a 3D characters fighting on a 2D plane.
