I don't really believe it, but it is rich seeing someone pirate games then talk about them flopping at retail.

Nearly 70k in others in 3 days on such platform as DS (which is not known for big opennings in this area) is actually a decent result. It will have great legs, and it will be a sucess for Rockstar. ill pick it up next month

I've seen nothing but Chinatown Wars ads for the last week and a half (a fair few Resi 5 ones, too). So hmm, this is a bit low.

63k in others...not too bad. I expect 50-80k in NA, so it'll be a decent opening week. Not that large for a GTA game, but it looks like it will outdo Vice City Stories. Plus DS games do have nice legs...

Why is this 2 day excuse even used? Doesn't every game launch on Friday in UK? That's a bull-shit excuse.

Legs? I guess we'll have to wait and see on that.

Userbase comparisons? Totally valid. Selling less than the PSP ones, despite having a huger userbase does need to be mentioned. The difference from when GTA: L/VCS launched on the PSP and this game launching on the DS is huge in user-base. What is it, triple or quadruple what PSP was when these games launched? And couldn't muster a bigger opening? That is a big deal.

The game didn't do horribly, and will sell well, but not better than either PSP game (well, maybe better than VCS), and it was said that more people were working on this than on either PSP title, so...
