Yeah polls much like democracy will never work. The questions are a little missleading anyway, just because you have five or more blue-rays does´t mean you play with your PS3 less than enybody else.

I use my ferrari to look cool, I dont even use it that much, it uses so much gasoline its not even funny. If I sold it, I would have money to buy gas... but then again what would I need gas for? Damn those life ruining ferraris.

I don't own a PS3, but I just went over to the poll and voted for "DVD only" because that was the funniest / most ironic answer. That's what I base my response on for every internet poll. You might as well have fun with them, it's not like they have any actual usefulness or scientific validity.

 Even if I had a PS3 I would still have the same exact bias against HD formats and to me that's what the poll is about.  I really don't want Bluray specifically to fail, I just want one of them to fail.  Sabotaging the poll would be going into the poll with the specific goal in mind to skew the results in one particular way, what I did was simply vote my opinion.  Personally, I think buying as a console even as a DVD player is pretty silly and buying one for an HD player is just as silly.  That's my personal opinion and that's all the poll is asking.

I think I could be a PS3 one day when it gets the games I like and the price comes down, but until then I'm only a potential buyer and that more than qualifies me for this poll.  There was no troll intention in my vote, I didn't want to skew results, I wasn't venting some sort of perceived anger at the PS3, I was just doing what polls are made for: expressing my opinion.

I will eventually use it for blu-ray but I pretty much stopped purchasing DVDs because I realized I wasn't watching a majority of them. Besides that, the rental place in my area doesn't have any HD movies and Blockbuster is out of the way. About the only things I buy on DVD these days are tv shows which means Lost, Heroes, & The Office. I will get the Lost blu-ray and I'm waiting to get the Heroes HD-DVD until I get a dedicated player.

Dude, it is an internet poll. 

But that doesn't make it a "waste of space" it provides entertainment.  If you rely on it for anything beyond that, that's your fault not twesterm's.

And if this thread had not been created, I would never have noticed the poll or voted. 

You know, the poll should really have had option "i don't own a PS3". Go ahead, blame twesterm for the results, but the real reason was that people wanted to vote and they chose the option that fits for them.
It would be stupid to think that in a poll, open to everyone, people "to who it wasn't meant to" wouldn't vote.
Besides, anyway you look at it, twesterm is right. It's not his fault that the poll had stupid options or missed one important option.

And about cklmb, he has his opinions, which he states as cklmb the forum member, not as cklmb the forum mod, and i don't see any problem with that. Are we now going to start arguing about this site having PS3 bias because of its mods?
