Okay...if there is an option for "I don't own one" we know which option would get the highest percentage. We know that because of the poll before this one which showed just exactly how many people here own Wiis. It's not pretty. Therefore I think the option to say basically "PS3 Sucks" should not have been included. Perhaps a DVD/Game option could have been included, but that would be the only change I would make.

I know he owns a Wii that's why I didn't say he's a troll; he even plays MP3 now; my point is that he should be more objective being a mod. I agree with you that the majority of ck's posts are nintendo bashing, but mods aren't held by some sacred rules that they're not supposed to have opinions. They're posters like the rest of us, only they also have the job of ensuring that the forums rules are being met. So long as they themselves are also meeting the forum rules and not abusing their power, they can say whatever the damn hell they want.

 


That's the whole point I was trying to make; If i.e. you bash me for my opinions, you may get banned. So why should a mod be allowed to do so?

Hey wouldnt it be cool if there was a "consoles you own" section in your profiles here. It could be linked to a database to see the actual numbers. I missed the poll, so I'm not included in those numbers.

It's pretty simple people. Only vote if the poll applies to you. And only vote once, regardless of how many alter-egos you have made. Otherwise these polls will just become meaningless and a waste of front page space.


 Why don'tI have a right to vote in that poll?  If I did have a PS3 I still wouldn't buy BluRay movies because 1) I don't want a possible dead format and 2) I don't see the point for paying more money for something that I can barely tell the difference.

The poll is there for every member to vote in they choose and I simply chose to.  This wasn't a Wii fanboy XBot thing, it was simply my opinion in the poll.

I've bought into bluray, just got my copy of 'planet earth' yesterday actually, it's absolutely stunning. I don't rent though, none of my local rental stores have moved on to HD media.

Twesterm...I wish I could see some sort of sarcasm in your post. You have the right to do whatever you want. You can create a thousand ids and spam the boards with whatever rhetoric you like. You can paint yourself blue and run down the street calling yourself smurfette. You can vote in polls made specifically for PS3 owners even though you don't have one. But don't you think voting in the PS3 poll is kinda wrong? Your bias against blu-ray is already apparent in that you don't have a PS3 to begin with. I'm biased against it too and I agree that I want the format to fail as well, because my DVD collection is finally getting filled out. And that's why we should stay away from a poll like that. It wasn't made for us. By voting in it all you are doing is sabatoging (Spelling?) it. Yes you can do it. Is it mature or right, I'm not so sure. At first when I opened this thread I thought Ckmlb was overreacting. Now I know this isn't true. For once in my life I find myself defending him. Crazy. So I owed you thanks for that. I applaud you.

It's an anonymous internet poll open to the public cklmb... If the question was "what do you like to use your ferrari for", you'd still get 700 plus posts, many of which stating that they only used it for the radio.

Or perhaps I'm just bitter over my poor performance in the favourite mod poll...

Yeah, those are too much votes to be from members only. And I agree, a "What?! Me buying PS3?! ARE YOU KIDDING?!?!" option would had been nice.
