You can do the regular campaign in co-op, although there is an achievement for beating it alone on legendary.  Apparently legendary's difficulty now increases with each additional player, so it's now harder than flying solo.

I already see 2 gamers on MGC have the game.  Many will probably get it at midnight launch in North America in the next few hours.  I expect a full tournament by the end of tomorrow.

I can say whole-heartedly that I will not be even contending in the Reach race.  I plan on enjoying the campaign, maybe a little fire fight and moving on to the real games of Fall :) Dead Rising and Fallout I'm looking at you.  But if its like past Halo games I expect about 500 or so gamerscore.

Just a couple of stats.

This thread has now been viewed more then 100,000 times.  In the last 1.75 years.  That's an average of about 150 views /day.

Halo Reach is already at 20 gamertags...

Thanks to all the gamers who continue to particpate in the league.  Without you buying, renting, and playing games, this league would not exist.

Carl: Lucky Bastid.

My fps skills are all rusted up.  Finished Normal but Legendary is going to be brutal for me.   Idjut comments from users on Meta. include "the campaign is three hours long" and "grafix like last gen".  It's like you can't trust stuff you read on the internet anymore.  I was around 11 hrs including getting my ass kicked a lot.  I'm so ashamed.  The new engine was flawless except for one load spot.  Thought my box had frozen up.  The visuals are as clear and detailed as the Halo Universe should ever be portrayed.  It's a surreal, fantasy universe not dark and gritty.  Did anyone else find Kat's voice annoying after a while?  Was that an Africaans-Estonian accent?  Bossy too.  Gameplay was everything I expected and they tied things together nicely.  Time for my Heroic effort.
