$99 is the biggest BS I've heard this year.
They already make a small loss on the Arcade SKU. With that price tag the Xbox will die within one month

Wow can't be true...but I certainly wouldn't put it past MS, they've been very aggressive with this stuff lately.

Nobody's that biased, seriously, I hope it's gonna outsell the wii since it'll make them drop price too. I was planning to buy one, but it's too expensive for what it offers. Anyway, i would be LOLing if both PS3 and XBOX 360, did the price drop while, nintendo increased their price.

Yeah, I doubt it. Why in the world would Microsoft feel the need to cut the price again so soon? They're 8 million ahead and I'm sure they want to make money. I think this has something to do with the rumours of the Elite being discontinued.

i would think m$ will lower the arcade to $149, the pro to $249 and the elite to $299 to get rid of their inventory( since the elite is going bye bye anyways).

With the 360 just beginning to make profit (or so we have been told) I can't believe the would say "ok" to this.

If this happens color me surprised.

lol a $99 arcade? i would get it for a back up for my current 360 ... just in case it crapps out :P
