I've been lurking around this website for a few months now and just today I got the trojan that some other members mentioned. I was shocked when I saw NOD32 informing me of a threat and tried to figure out where it came from as I was browsing through several different tabs. When I ran a search on Google for the trojan and it came back to this page in the forums, I was devastated that a site I trusted would do such a thing.

Now I have Adblock Plus and NoScript installed, got the idea from the user above, I'm completely safe (I hope) from threats related to this website. It sucks not being able to enable javascript for the site, but I haven't encountered any problems related to having javascript disabled.

....or you all could use Firefox. Why install all of those additional programs to run in the background eating up your resources. Just use FF.

@superchunk - Adblobk Plus and NoScript are both firefox extensions. I started using them to maximise security. When I disable them, NOD32 gives me trojan alerts when I visit the site on firefox.

did this problem ever get solved??.. i was on another site there was a link to vgchartz and all people said were nooooo dont go there it has trojans and viruses.... sorta makes the site look bad..

I've been using Firefox since the ordeal so I haven't tried to log on with IE for some time. Right now I am on IE and the site seems fine. Something must be fixed. Good job ioi.

 My browser still shuts down for no reason when loading the site... so chances are it's still f'd up.

Ok...back to Firefox. Page was acting glitchy and the things that popup of which I will not give names were passing through the device I have enabled to prevent such uppopping things. Odd that. So back to Mozilla world.

Hmm everytime when I open a thread my browser blocks three pop ups :s.

Is this ever going to be fixed? I'm starting to lose all faith in the site.

The anti virus I have keeps acting up since yesterday, so things got worst I guess, it wasnt this bad before.
