Wow! I already was looking forward to the game, but this is awesome!

I wish I could be as interested in point and click games today as I was when I was 8.

Sorry I can't hype this game, but I can at least bump this thread for those who will enjoy it.

YES! I have such fond memories of Broken Sword, took me to a world of adventure. Two and to some extent three were also really good. Four was awful :(

Err. Kinda looks like a DVD game, or maybe a primitive Flash game, with some good hand-drawn animation.

For some reason I had this on my Wii RPG list.

Powerful music score, for certain.

Aaaand I'm still torn on which game I'm gonna buy this month.

Gaaaah.

Woah. I played this on the PC back in the day. Awesome game. It looks like they added a lot of additional stuff.. I'll probably get it if it's not full price.

Gaaaah.

What's the other option?

(Sorry, no embedding)

You sure?

^Yeah, found it. Didn't look long enough.

Along with RTS games, point & click adventures are the reason I'm returning to PC gaming this week after years of absence. This way I can get the best of three worlds when it comes to original western and eastern point & click games: PC, DS, Wii.

In the future I won't have to care, wait or hope for DS/Wii or even Mac ports of western point & click games anymore, I'll just buy those I want for PC (A Vampyre Story, Sam & Max Season 2, Ceville, The Book of Unwritten Tales, The Whispered World, Black Mirror 2...).

Broken Sword is a different story though: I'll re-buy this game on Wii, as the Wii version is more than just a mere 1:1 port from a 13 years old PC game (which was already ported to PS1 and GBA years ago). This overhaul could be the best effort from a western p&c developer on Wii so far.

BTW: Similar to many movie trailers, this trailer reveals a bit too much in my opinion.

The trailer was epic. I'm interested in this game, but already dropped coinage on Rune Factory & Valkryie Profile DS - and I feel like I've been spending a bit too much lately - so I'll have to put this on my pile of shame...

Unless it's $29.99... then I could swing it.
