They estimated Microsoft had sold over 9 millions 360 consoles in Europe. Microsoft has just confirmed they had reached the 8 million milestones in Europe this month and remember we are talking about a company that counts software sales even when the game are just delivered to the stores! VGC had posted this in news but must have realized it wasn't good for them and the news disappeared from this website!

If you take the numbers from http://nexgenwars.com/ they differ over a million too. I really doubt VGC or even Nexgenwars have any idea what the real numbers are. This is just pure guessing based on I don't know what! First I tought this numbers meant something but now I don't!

We had this in another thread already; you always have to consider the following things:

Microsoft, Sony and VGChartz mean different things when they say Europe: Microsoft covers only the European Union I think and the sales reported in that article are from December (definitely - Microsoft announced 8 million Xbox360's in Europe in december, I doubt they didn't sell a single unit during the last 3 months)
