FF nextgen can go where it likes i will eventually pick up the console with FF on like i picked up a DS for FFIII and i downloaded a SNESemulator for FF and ChronoTrigger(which is AMAZING best RPG ever story,characters,size of the world for a SNES game is very BIG,timetravelling should be in more games). |

on topic: wii cant take FF imo cause wii is built upon motion controls. i think it would be better for them to create a new franchise for the Wii. KH might do good on the Wii though.

Theres to many things to quote so ill just do a few random answers you guys figure out where it goes.
- The Final Fantasy name started because it was going to be the sink or swim game for Square. It was their "Final" Fantasy if the game failed. Which of course it didn't.
- The PS3 isnt doing that bad, its matching the 360's sales so far pretty well, by the time FFXIII is out there will be way more PS3s on the market, plus FFXIII will push tons of console sales.
- Its not SE's death for liking the best graphics. They have always made a perfect balance between gameplay and graphics. Remember FFXII is amazing visually for a game that can take 70+ hours to beat. Another main reason why Square went to Sony was because the PlayStation could push 3D graphics.
- Soriku leave these forums.. these threads are becoming a pain in the ars. Just because you cant get the fact that not everyone likes the Wii doesnt mean you should be a blatant fanboy wishing every other console's demise. The main FF series wont leave Sony consoles but spinoffs and the more cartoony ones will be on the other consoles and the PSP.

FF XIII is the nexgen final fantasy genius, and its exclusive to the ps3.You mean FF XIV?Well the ps1 was selling bad compared to the n64 until...FF7 came along...see something going on here?

Thats not what leo-j was saying.He said that FFVII gave the PS1 the push to overtake the PS1 and FFX gave the PS2 a big boost and kept the sales high and FFXIII will give the PS3 the boost to overtake the X360.
You say i made the "We like graphics" thing from S-E up but then you say Nomura said it so i didnt make it up i just didnt remember who said it.

I definately remember reading it on N4G.com/industry or N4G.com/E307 i cant remember but it was a while ago and they definately said something like that i will try to find it again but dont expect anything soon N4G.com search is crap and to specific.
