DS games usually never get high reviews. If this game didn't have GTA on the cover, it would likely be much lower.

It deserves it! Really like the game.. it has that fun factor that Vice City had.. and no.. don't compare it with GTA 1 & 2... yes the view is from the top but gameplay-wise it sooo much better.. IMO better then GTAIV..
