Seen many talkning about Halo Wars vs Killzone, sure it's in the same time period but it's a F... RTS vs the grand game on PS3.
For me it has allways been Gears vs Killzone since 2005. Both very close in many terms, dark future fps/third person thing with great MP mode and a great story mode.
But most of all they have been the show off for MS and Sony to promote the power on the machines.
Now with 20 million PS3 sold Killzone is pushing a little more then 1 million in 2 weeks. Some claims that's fine and normal.
But looking at Gears 1, released in 2006 when the 360 barly had around 6 million units. How did it sell in the first 2 weeks? 1.3+ million!
Isn't this a proof that Sony is doing something wrong when promoting their games, Killzone 2 is absolutly fantastic and a must own game for PS3 and a true reason to buy a PS3.
Why can they push the same numbers as 360 did and does on equal exklsuive games? Can a game on PS3 ever sell like Halo 3?
Sure there are many factors but still, selling greater with only 30% of the PS3 base is something that makes u wonder even if it was holiday season, econic crisis and all that.
Predictions for 2009:
360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70
Future projection
Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)
NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)
