I've never played Jak and Daxter or Sly Cooper, but Ratchet and Clank is amazing! You gotta play all of them! gogogo!

Seriously, Ratchet and Clank is really good. I've heard great things about the Jak series, but I've never gotten a chance to try them out. As for Sly, well, I haven't heard much about it at all... I dunno if it's good or not.

I just picked up SLY COOPER last week and its amazing. I like it better than R&C, but i havent played Jak.

The soundtrack/sound effects to sly are awesome and the gameplay/story are really good.

Joking ^_^ but I definitely want to try the Sly and Jak games. I've been a fan of 3D platformers ever since the first R&C, so I figure I'm not doing myself any favors by not trying them.

Only problem is that I have to find them first. >_<

Although I don't agree with your reasoning, I do think it would have a tougher time reaching the base. Mainly for the reason of the series kinda fading away due to a long nonexistence in the public eye. I mean Ratchet is still big at the Sony camp which is why a new one on PS3 could easily be a big game. But Sly has not one that has had its brand to be continually heightened which puts it into darkness. Sure there would be a good amount of long time gamers who would look into it and purchase it but mainstream wouldn't follow suit immediately.

It still has the potential to be big but once again it would be needed to advertised like an entirely new IP because that's essentially what you'll be left with.

Essentially I don't think it has anything to do with the userbase on PS3 just that the brand has kinda faded due to lack of inactivity.

Hmm...i dont even played Sly on PS2...why?why i should play Sly when i got Jak & R&C?but on the PS3 i maybe would buy it and i think when its a good game it will se sucess on the PS3...because we got not enough good Jump N Runs on the PS3 in my Opinion!
