50k WW would be good enough. 100k WW would be massive and huge for this game but I don't expect anything like that.

BEST BUY in my town got 32 copies on wed, i got the first one.

ebgames got about the same too..

i heard it sold out at amazon at one point

should get to 80-100k first week- if higher, great :)

and thought it is not coming out in japan

I'm not as optimistic as you, it won't pass the 100K worlwide sales in the first week. I'm expecting similar sales as No More Heroes

If the game makes profit then job done. Does anyone know Madworld budget? I hope this does well, as it will encourage more developers to push the Wii Hardware and create a game deserving the sales.

According to retailer sales, it's not doing very hot. Better than other Wii flops like Z&W and NMH, but nowhere near 'big' status.

50,000-70,000 first week in NA, most likely.

Yea that's about what I would put it at as well but where did ya get the retailer sales numbers from.  Just curious.
