Seems Madworld had been delayed for the 20th of March in EU
50k WW would be good enough. 100k WW would be massive and huge for this game but I don't expect anything like that.

BEST BUY in my town got 32 copies on wed, i got the first one.
ebgames got about the same too..
i heard it sold out at amazon at one point
should get to 80-100k first week- if higher, great :)
and thought it is not coming out in japan
I'm not as optimistic as you, it won't pass the 100K worlwide sales in the first week. I'm expecting similar sales as No More Heroes
--OkeyDokey-- said: You guys are way too low. The game is getting at least some advertising from what I hear. It's also apparently a great game. Not in a "great for Wii a game" kinda way, just great period. How many of those do we get? I stand by my prediction of 100-200k first week in America. |
It has been on TV for over a month!
With it's huge ad campaign, I'd think that Sega wants at least 100k first week.
If the game makes profit then job done. Does anyone know Madworld budget? I hope this does well, as it will encourage more developers to push the Wii Hardware and create a game deserving the sales.
20k first week in the Americas I'd say.

Bets with Conegamer:
Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.
According to retailer sales, it's not doing very hot. Better than other Wii flops like Z&W and NMH, but nowhere near 'big' status.
50,000-70,000 first week in NA, most likely.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Yea that's about what I would put it at as well but where did ya get the retailer sales numbers from. Just curious.
