And bad new for PS3 and Wii owners ....the two games arriving this week to the consoles have received a good beating at Famitsu ......Mist of Chaos for the PS3 has received an horrible 18/40 and Eyeshield 21 for the Wii a mediocre 24/40 ...

I guess with Super Paper Mario the Wii numbers will increase again (is Sonic already out there?) but the DS sells worse and worse every week even though a lot of new top games are coming out...
Personally, I hate the "about" numbers because someone might say 120,000 Nintendo DS systems is "about" 100,000 units, 59,000 Wii systems is "about" 50,000 systems and 15,000 PS3 systems is "about" 20,000 PS3 systems ... I'm not saying these are the numbers but there is a massive ammount of potential inaccuracy from these estimates

Yes of course. I just reffered to last week where the numbers from this source where pretty accurate (just about +/- 5k maybe which is pretty good)

Are those supposed to be good? I saw the website for mist and nothing more and isn't Eyeshield an anime?

So the DS had a bad week because it sold just 100K? You've got to be kidding me. Maybe some people have to be reminded that the DS is the fastest selling system in Japanese gaming history, and that the pace it was on couldn't possibly continue that much longer. Even if it averages just 100k for the year it would still sell about as many units this year as the PSP has sold to date in Japan. The DS is closing in on the total the GBA sold for it's entire lifetime, and is only five million units away from outselling the PS2.

DS has own category when we are talking about sale numbers. Chill out. 100k is great - but after streak of +160k weeks you can feel a bit disappointed. Nothing more. It's still more than PS2 + PSP + PS3 but as I said DS has own category.

No, I´m not kidding you. And I never said the DS is selling bad. Read my post again. I was worrying because the DS numbers were falling even though Yoshi´s Island was coming out and I wondered if it was because of lower supply That was all. No kidding. Just some thinking... I expected the numbers would go up this week because of Yoshi´s Island that was all... Personally I expect the DS to sell at least 25 million units in Japan.
