I heard from my mate today that there are no finnish swear words. Ilooked it up on the net, some sites say that it's true and some say it's false. the sites that say it's false all give the word 'vittu' as their main swear word. Is anyone here fluent in finnish? becaus eI can't believe that they don't have any swear words.

Veeeery false. We've got lots and lots of them. I tried some googling, and apparently this myth originates from a book by Bill Bryson. The man may be funny, but he's also full of shit, so don't take anything he writes too seriously. ^^
