Thats a fact for sure nitnendo is just doing what any sensible compay will do. they're not as big as big as sony or ms where they can handle major profit losses, thats why they're called Nintendo company limited.

I always wondered, why the hell the pound was that expensive all the years, without any real successful export products from Britain. Well, now we know for sure, that it was just a financial bubble.

I already booked my flight to London in April and I'll get back with a lot of games^^ Damn, a wii for 214 Euros (if the retail price would be 200 GBP)? The official price tag in Germany is still 250 (VAT included)...

Might as well finally get a 360^^

They should raise the price in all regions except Japan. They can print more money that way

Oh well, am I really the only one on Earth that despite liking the whole concept of Wii and considering it the less redundant and most desirable console complement to PC gaming, nevertheless won't buy it for even a cent more than 150€ (and possibly even less)?

really means:

"Due to the severe owning of the Wii, and knowing everyone wants one, we are, happy, to raise the price of the Wii in the UK Market (soon to follow other countries) because people will pay what we want them to pay."

Nintendo is so damn greedy. I mean, how DARE they try to make a profit in this economy.
