Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Medal of Honor Heroes for the Wii. Anyone else looking forward?

Don Wii, I was just reading the article as you were posting that... I was thinking, man I have to change my mind and post the same exact paragraph.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

If they could somehow put buttons A and B within reach on that gun, it would be pretty fun for Metroid. I know you would still have to use your other hand to access maps, the visor, or maps but it would be like Samus inputing commands on her arm. It might add to the immersion. Do you think they could do that? Add a button of the side of the gun?

I'm looking foward too it, but I likely won't be buying too many games till after X-mas.

Seems like the biggest draw is the multiplayer (8-10 hour campaign).
It may not win me over-not a big fan of FPS-but more well made FPS on the Wii is always a plus.

". Sure, you can set your maximum up and down look, but you can also feather your horizontal and vertical sensitivity, your aiming sensitivity and, best of all, your dead zone (commonly referred to in these parts as the elusive bounding box). Because the controls can be so tightly tweaked and because Heroes 2 runs at a locked 60 frames per second, you can continually fiddle with the dead zone and the look / aim sensitivities until you stumble upon the perfect match for the way you play. The standard configuration is already highly responsive - better than Call of Duty 3 or Vanguard and not far behind Metroid Prime 3. However, after maxing everything out and dropping the dead zone down to its smallest size, we walked away with a look / aim speed several times that of Prime 3 and the ability to a 180-degree flip with the Wii remote in a half second, as opposed to the two and half seconds it takes in Corruption. We're not sure we'd want to play the game like that - you'll make dramatic on-screen movements if you so much as sneeze - but if you've got the finesse to maintain control with that much speed at your fingertips, you have that option, which is a first on Wii. "

Lots of control tuning.
Bounding Box/"Dead Zone" fully customizable.
In the highest sensitiviy settings, you can do a 180 in under a second.

I have been playing battlefield 2142 for about a year so far so this game will be a good replacement. I got excited about this game during E3 when they were talking about how this game will have 32-man multiplayer, it will be nice to see Wii's wi-fi used for once.

Proud owner of the following gaming devices:

PC, XBox 360, Wii, PS2, DS, PS3

I just watched that Youtube review for that gun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAfHGseEmbQ&mode=related&search= The guy seemed pretty objective about it. Hey it made Red Steel more fun. I will definately buy it for Medal of Honor Heroes. The very end of the video is funny.

What I want is to be able to shoot a target without an onscreen reticule. I want to use the sights of my gun or wiimote. Let's see if these calibrations that EA has put in place will do the trick.

You want a light gun, not a wiimote. What you wish for is not possible.

Indeed, he might want to check out this game. Graphics could use a bit of polishing, but the gameplay is solid.
