Everthing else about the game is what had me excited for it, but the control scheme wasn't good enough. Take a look at IGN's review at the end, graphics, sound, and presentation scored fairly well (8.0, 7.5, and 8.0). That's what excites me about the game, a fresh IP with a new story and look. IGN looked like they would have loved to play the game but were totally frustrated by the controls, as noted in the video review. I'm obviously not expecting an amazing score with different controls, but if it wasn't for the controls, the game looks like it'd be around a 7-8. |
I asked Greg (IGN Editor) why the low score, it was the controls that killed it mainly, the framerate and the other minor issues didnt help.
