Shams and benkanobi are wii fanboys. No clue why they are mods.

Theres an obvious double standart on here, wii fanboys can get away with alot more and its usually thanks to the bais of shams or benkanoibi.

Game ranking prove this pace is a wii fanboy haven.

Actually you're dead wrong. The situation is much more along the lines of people who know how to disagree, debate, and make points without being blatantly rude and insulting are fine where as some of the extreme fanboys find it neccessary to resort to insults and rude comments to make their points on occasion. And on those occasions they get warned by a mod. Its simple really, there are basic set rules and clearly defined lines not to cross. If you follow the rules and don't cross those lines you are fine, if you don't follow the rules and/or you do cross the line, well then you are warned and then banned if you persist.

Anyone using facts, logic, and reason as their arsenal for proving a point will find the mods leave them alone.

I think people are also forgetting the fact that nintendo is and always has been one of the largest players in the market (even when their hardware share was low) and that they have made an insane amount of games over the years, and since almost all of their games are of the highest quality it is only natural that they claim a lot of the top spots.

Also i think that the comment about sony fanboys constantly rating ms games down makes sense aswell becouse sony fanboys seem to be really hatfull lately, becouse the ps3 isnt selling to well.

And concerning the lotr game scoring a 2? well most of them did suck

I agree with ALLALL about Shams, not Benkanobi, however. Although Benkenobi is a Nintendo fan, he's still able to keep a level of professionalism. I can not say the same for Shams.

@grandmaster: Doesn't really mean anything, if our mods are fanboys or not, as long as it doesn't affect their moderating and i haven't personally noticed any bias. For example, "deputy" BenKenobi, thought he was misbehaving and banned himself (LMFAO), that's something i would really call non-biased.

@Leo-j: I wasn't talking about you, i was talking about certain group, which makes those claims. It doesn't mean that everyone in the group would be the same or anyone outside the group wouldn't rant it, but it's the general group, from where you hear "kiddie".

@Yuk04: Those who talk like PSX started the gaming, are the ones who started gaming with PSX. Sounds funny, i agree.
I think you are barking the wrong tree with PSX and 3D games. If i recall, most PSX games were 2D before N64 and SM64 was released. I could be wrong, but thats how i remember it.

About those gameratings, just like someone said earlier, there haven't been enough votes for accurate projections. If there would be complete non-bias and lots of votes, i don't think the top ten would look much different. Other thing is games outside top 10, do they have the right rating. I don't personally know, i haven't checked the game ratings or voted. Anyway, eventually the rating will be fair, when there are enough votes.

The site (forums) bias represent what is "hot" right now. This site doesn't create the fans, and neither it should. At the moment, DS and Wii are popular, so basically every multiconsole site is Nintendo biased.
If you want to blame someone, about this sites forum being Nintendo biased, blame the PS and Xbox fans for not being here. I personally think that everyone is welcome, who can keep their post pretty civil and do not troll, atleast not much.

If you have any evidence of biased moderation send it to Stof. Otherwise I dont see why Shams isnt allowed his own opinion. Ill stick up for Cklmb and any other mod in the same way.

There's no point in doing so. As long as there is no bias against Nintendo, Stof and most other members won't care. Like another member said, there is really a double standard on this site. My problem with Shams isn't that he's bias, but instead it's that he's no different then blue3, Killzone 3, ect. He's always putting people down and trying to show up people. I really don't like that.

It simply turns out that some sites attract different followings.

Take a look at the GT forums for example, the site has double the amount of Sony fans then MS fans, and the Wii has barely any following there at all. People are complaining about the amount of Sony fans etc.

This site may appear to have a Nintendo Bias, (ioi even once had his name as 'Wii_Fan' I recall). Nintendo is listed first among the companies at the top(the only website I've seen that happen) and mods like Shams and Benkenobi have an open love of Nintendo. (And sometimes an open dislike for the other consoles.)

It's not that Nintendo has the most fans. But a large part of it might have to do with the age of all the hardcore Nintendo fans, who are in their late twenties-thirties, and are obviously going to have more interest in figures and statistics then your average twelve year old boy. Result: this site attracts them in droves.

Also because of extensive moderation, and the fact they are hugely outnumbered, It is my belief that many Sony and MS fans tend to tone down their fanboyism so as to stay on good terms with the others here.

Does the site have a Nintendo bias? No. The site is about representing sales figures etc. which are not twisted or changed in any way to suit Nintendo.

Does the community on the site have a Nintendo bias? Almost certainly. But that's basically unavoidable with the amount of Nintendo fans present.

I'm 31 years old. My first system was the NES. It pretty much consumed my childhood. That's where I learned the definition of good video games. Back then, there were (simple) cinematics, and there was a lot of crap. Still, in those days, gameplay reigned supreme. Over the years, companies like Sega, Atari, SNK, and Nec all fell to the side, but Nintendo and it's franchises were always there. They were always innovating, and always about video games first. When Sony and Microsoft joined the fray, it seemed like these big corporate entities were invading the market just to get their cut of the industry. Video games were more of an afterthought to them, I thought. Games are Nintendo's passion.

Sony makes gadgets and movies. Microsoft makes computer programs. Nintendo is videogames. That's what my hear tells me. Sony and Microsoft make onr hell of a console. I'll be the first to admit that the Wii is my favorite system right now. That said, if there is a Wii version of Resident Evil 5, I'm buying the 360 version. My heart is with Nintendo even if they don't make the "best system" because generation after generation, they were all about the experience. Nintendo paid it's due. I'm glad that after a decade they are back on top. They EARNED my loyalty.

Thar's why I AM biased.

I'm not saying I totally disagree with the ratings of the top 10, Mario and Zelda are awesome. I just think other games from other systems need to be in there too. GTA, Halo and others...

What 15 year old fanboy are you talking about? I have never said anything about nintendo being kiddie, but they go to the younger audience as there target.

I guess that is why all I personally know owns a Wii is above 24...
