Heavy Rain isn't really unique or innovative(unless you haven't played Indigo Prophecy). It's a direct sequel with direct gameplay elements from the companies previous, excellent game, Indigo Prophecy.
Saying that Heavy Rain is the first of its kind is talking point bullshite.
Also MAG will likely suck, and should be replaced with Infamous.
Next, make Heavy Rain number 2, move GoWIII to number 5, and make Gran Turismo be number 1.
I'm surprised no mention of Verses is in this thread.
My top 3 PS3 exclusives have vastly changed since the beginning of this gen.
I predicted they would be FFXIII, Tekken, and MGS4. Now, it seems like all PS3 exclusive games are first party. I don't like God of War, but I loved Indigo Prophecy, quick time events and all. I still believe the best games this gen have been multiplat, from Fallout 3, GTAIV, SFIV, CoD4, Bioshock, Braid, and the like. I think exclusives, especially ones made by Sony, are overhyped. Right now the big thing is to call KZ2 the best FPS ever, which is a joke, honestly. You could wipe every game off this list, and the only ones I would give a shit about are Verses and Heavy Rain. Just in case you were wondering what I thought about it.
A game I think a lot of people under-estimate is L.A. Noire.
