Have you played them?  They're all extremly different.

Okay, I guess I understand what you meant but lumping them all together and saying one game isn't fair considering how they've evolved over the years.  The Sims 'Resort' may just be an expansion to The Sims but both are vastly different to the original SimCity.  It's no more fair to lump them all together than it is to consider all the Mario games one game. 

There's a reason he's been given more than one lifetime acheivement award and it's because he's put out several memorable games (albeit in one "franchise") over the last two decades.

Now that I think about it, though, Gunpei Yokoi -The man behind "lateral thinking of withered technology," which has now saved gaming not once but twice- should have had either first or second.

lol surprise surprise. If they didn't give it to Miyamoto they would have gotten killed. The man freaking deserves it though. I can't think of a single game dev. that has come up with this many iconic characters.

I'm extremely happy to see Sakaguchi and Kojima in the top 10.

Well deserved for Mr. Miyamoto. He has surely earned his spot. Good top 10 as well. No surprise to see Mr. Wright at #3. Poor tremble, though, trying to be a troll. Oh well.

I think I would have liked to see Kojima a little higher but still a top 10 spot was well deserved as it is.

 How does the guy who brought us the best PC game ever not deserve third place?
