Ok, when we speak of "age fastest" are we referring to a game that people won't be able to return to they played, OR one that, in future years new people won't want to play?

I was taking it to be the later.  HOWEVER, if it is games I wouldn't want to return to, anything linear would likely end up not aging well.

I think racers hold up pretty well actually, if they are good. Daytona USA for Sega Saturn is still fun to play!

I'd agree with shooters. I used to play Rainbow Six Vegas like it was my job now I can't look at it either.

This is easy. Sports games, the next iteration is always one years away.

games focused on game play stay young....graphic focused games get old fast...it not a matter of witch type...its just about what's the good part off the game...graphics don't make classics!!!

Sports and shooters..
Basicly any game that have more about graphics than gameplay
Graphics gets outdated very fast, gameplay dont.

FPS & Sports ages fastest.

Call of Duty & Madden/Fifa

Shoot em Ups & RPG's age slowest..

Chrono Trigger & Megaman
