luckily, we don't base all of our actions on bad individuals.

So everything I said was true. Right now the PS3 does not have a Unified friends list, custom sound tracks or in-game messages. To check achievements on the PS3 you will need to launch Home and WALK to your trophy room. On 360 I click one button and there they are. Achievements on the 360 are a fantastic and innovative idea that just works great. On the PS3 they are an after thought and a hacked inferior copy of Live. Home is laughable. Not only is Home not cool it is stupid. The reason Home is getting so much attention is because PS3 fans are desperate for anything to justify their $600 purchase. Do people want to pay $600 to play Second Life? Have fun walking around in your Doll House. I will be playing real games like Mass Effect, Halo 3, Too Human and BioShock. Home is a nice bonus but not a killer app. Unless you are 13.
Funny it seems as if people think that home is an after thought. As soon as you launch home you can access any part of the world through the menu. Additional functionality that has been already underway are also coming. The first is to jump and criticize instead of researching. This reaction seems more like the attempts to downplay a very interesting software. It is one thing to say something doesn't appeal to you but to say it will only apply to 13 year olds is pretty leap. How did you come to this conclusion?

surely sony doesn't! not that I care, I'm too big and too old for someone to molest me. but michael jackson is looking forward to home more then most others. hey, it's a chat room... on a game system that's going to have millions of kids playing... and you even get to see what the kids look like... in wonderful graphic detail!

All the writers and gaming folks are giving it a big thumbs up and saying it may even be superior to XBL. It may not drive sales, but it is FREE and it's going to be good for anyone currently gaming on the PS3. Superior to Live? They still do not have a unified friends list, custom sound tracks or in-game messages. The only time I chat with others on Live is in-game. The only time I compare achievements in on Xbox.com. Home is just a pretty but much slower way to do achievements and match making. This is inferior by far. Also, everyone is acting like this thing just launched. Going by Sony`s past history Home will be late and have half the features promised. Microsoft will have the spring and fall updates to it`s Live service before Home is released.
Notice I said may, and that implies it might not be. And I was only mentioning what some critics have said. Personally I think it will be sometime before we can tell. All the things you just mentioned are coming in firmware updates this month with the European launch if I'm not mistaken, or are planned. Whoa? You're saying Achievements is not a big deal? Whatever, tons of Xbox fans have blasted PSN for not having something like it. I disagree, the majority of XBL players use achievements as a bragging point.

You guys amuse me. 1. Your 'acheviements' on x-box 360 are what? text based? I can have a dying helgast soldier in the corner of my house. (that is impossible to beat in my book. impossible.) 2. Did you not read you can pull up the map, and go anywhere instantally? 3. Did you know you can not get on HOME unless you are 18+ or your legal guardian signs digitally. If you are under 13. I think you have more hoops to jump through. 4. Did you know if your child gets molested because of something you let him do. It was YOUR fault, and not the place it happend at? HOME is gonna rock this world. And i'm checking every 1-2 hours for the HOME beta signup... buhahahaha
