When know that SE loves milking FF franchise. We already have FFI and FFII remakes on PSP, FFIII and FFIV on DS. What about FFV and FFVI? I don't care about V (not the best imo), but FFVI is a huge one. We know it will get a remake, but which handheld will get it? I think that SE will release it on PSP2 or on DS2, and maybe as a launch title. What do u think, is it possible?

Don't forget that I and II have actually been "remade" three times - in Origins on the PS1, in Dawn of Souls on the GBA, and of course in the separate releases on the PSP.

Giving the difference in performances between the remakes, I imagine that we'll see V on the DS and VI either on the DS or the DS2.

i still find it funny they won't remake their most successful one. Part of me thinks it is fear they will botch it up and ruin it's good name.

I agree they've been "remade" just 3 times, but that's because the PS1 versions were just ports of the WonderSwan Color remakes.

So I'd say 3 facelift/remakes, and 6 ports overall (including the MSX2, and Japanese cell phones).

But hey, who's counting?  I don't even like these games.

I think V and VI will both come to the DS, so then it will have the full 1-6 collection, 1-2 being on the GBA of course.

they are the publisher of seven, they do have the publish rights on a "playstation" console.
