I agree with the fellow that stated amidst the recession it would be foolish to make the game a PS3 exclusive. The GTA DLC broke DLC records on the 360. No offense to PSN, but such a thing at the moment couldn't take place there. The game sold the most on the 360. No exclusivity contract Sony makes will bring Rockstar the type of money it awaits as a multiplatform. The only reason Sony should have any exclusivity from a powerful 3rd party exclusive, much like MGS is out of history and respect.

not many know but +rockstar offered sony gta4 exclisivity..........rep stated it wasnt business sence so i doubt gta5 wil be 1 console exclusive.........but i am looking forward to the brand new ps3 only rockstar franchise, i predict we will hear of it at e3

How do you explain Konami making MGS 4 exclusive? or how so many companys make games for the PS360 but not the Wii?

OT: They would be able to do much more greater things if it was PS3 exclusive, or like others said make the X360 version multiple disk.

GTA 5 will be PS3 exclusive and i am about 70% certain of this. I'll tell u my reasons.

First off, GTA IV sucked balls compared to GTA SA, and i am certain 90% of gamers would agree with me. Now lets look at why it sucked at balls. The main reason was because there was nothing interesting to do once the story was over really because of the lack of (BIG LIST COMING UP)

- Extra Missions
- Business to buy and run
- Property
- Big Ass Map
- Funny Characters
- Good, long missions
- Gang Territory and Wars

- Hot Coffee Mod
- Hair Styles
- Gyms
- Learning Extra Fighting Styles
- No Customization of Cars
- No RPG stuff (Sex Appeal anyone?)
- Monster Trucks
- Swimming Under Water
and a shit load of other stuff that i am too lazy to remember.

Now lets look at why this shit wasnt in here. There are 3 possible reasons

1) R* wanted a more realistic game
2) R* didnt have the time or money
3) X360 DVD9 and lack of hard drive in every console caused space limitations

Since options 1/2 we cannot comment on, option 3 is the only one left and we have actual proof of R* saying this (LOOK IT UP)

So the way to fix this is make it PS3 EXCLUSIVE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT SHIT. People are saying R* wont make it exclusive because of the money to be made on 360. I call this bullshit. SONY could pay them and besides money only goes so far, there is only so much money can do or buy and since R* is loaded anyway, money is not an issue.

From the start,GTA 4 was better on the 360 and not PS3 just because the resolution/framerates and the 50 million $ MS gave Rockstar to make 2 exclusive episodes to sell the Live service.

I think that for GTA 5,a huge game,MS will be gunning for the exclusive contract. They made money off episode 1 and Live subscriptions,they will make more money when episode 2 comes out,but I think they want to make money from selling GTA 5 as a 360 exclusive.

Think about it,a PlayStation exclusive going 360 exclusive...that will be a huge hit for Sony from MS,even if they have to pay more than 50 million $ for it.

Stupid move by Konami. They could have made the PS3 version and then ported down to the 360. It would have resulted in more sales.

Maybe they were moneyhatted? or maybe SE was that stupid not to put them on the PS3. I don't think R* are stupid enough to go exclusive from now on unless a nice pay off is offered (50M DLC)
