Please answer my question. Yes or No? If yes please tell me when you believe Gears of War 2 will over take Gears of War in LTD sales.

For the record the sales of the two games are Gears of War around 5.9 million and Gears of War 2 around 4.6 million.

No as GEOW 2 is not showing legs like GEOW 1 did

Its almost 50% below GEOW 1 in terms of legs.

But I would still say 77% no.....33% yes it may pass it

GEOW was bundled for some time and I expect a bundle at the end of the year + if the game becomes a classic (lower price) sales will rise again.

GEOW 2 was bundled in the UK too over xmas......so was GEOW 1

so maybe we should cancel those effects out

yeah it will pass it, but it takes a year or something. We need to wait till it gets cheaper. Gears of War2 classic for 30€ would help, but there is no need to reduce price while it is still selling fine.

Looks a lot more promising for GeoW2, I would want to wait a month before I call this either way

yeah GeoW 2 is basically almost one year ahead of GeoW.

But as a counter point, that is partially because sequels usually have better opening weeks, and sucessful new IP has good legs as word of mouth spreads. So 2 is a year ahead of 1, but the gap is closing as 1 is outselling 2 in weekly sales atm with an aligned launch

It will be close. 60 no 40 yes to me.

doubtful, the campaign mode is just nowhere near as good as the first one.
