I love hou the first few choices people responded with would probably screw us over horribly.
I haven't narrowed it down yet but my first choices would be : Ramza Beoulve, Cyan (last name?), Samus or Commander Sheppard (Mass Effect, not Command and Conquer :^))

Oh yeah, Jack Shepherd (ME not Lost Via Domus) would make a great President, though he is a bit of a horrible and scarred person
Gilgamesh from FF XII, because he's greedy and ruthless enough. He even has the mandatory pet, Enkil.

Hasslhoff became the president in Red Alert 3. Gotta love alternate history.
It seems like most of you either aren't taking it seriously at all or don't know what a president actually does. I'm hoping it's the former.
I honestly can't think of a VG character that would make a good presisdent. Except the Hoff.
