The game came through the mailbox on friday the 27th of February I was drinking my tea as I was awaiting the arrival of Killzone 2. Upon arrival of the Killzone 2 I moved my dvd player and Pc upstairs in fear it may explode with graphics deemed only possible on the ps3. I felt it was best to move them upstairs in fear of losing them.

It was February 27th 10:30AM, i was drinking my tea i was worried the game was not going to be delivered as I was nervously drinking my tea. The mailbox made a sound I knew that Killzone 2 had entered my home what moment it was I had not been this excited since Metal Gear Solid 4 came through the letterbox. I stared at the package which said Killzone 2 from Play.com (only £29,99 bargain!). I knew right away some people were going to slaughtered online. Unwrapped the package turned the kettle on and I began my journey.

I' ve recently purchased a Sony "32" Hd Tv, to mark the arrival of killzone 2. As I began the game I knew i was in for a ride like no other. The controls felt heavy which took a while for me to grasp but after an hour I had bonded with the game.

With titles such as Halo 3, Gears of war and Call of duty 4 all been released. Killzone 2 has a lot to live up to and manages to exceed the high expectations set by all three games. I was simply overwhelmed by the surroundings I found myself in, the intensity and pace of the game is so fast moving you have barely time to admire the surrounding. The A.I in the games is very sophisticated I found myself frustrated and the amount times I was killed. Killzone 2 is game where you need to be patient, but accomplishing certain goals will feel very rewarding.

Killzone 2 is cinematic by virtue of its astonishing visual presentation perhaps the best-looking console game ever made and only possible on the ps3. The game that inspired my dad to upgrade to an HD television. This game is the total package and eclipses even Call of Duty 4 which I thought was not possible.

Killzone 2 is the greatest shooter this gen no doubt!

The playstation 3 is the home of the greatest games!

Which is a fair enough opinion. I am not trying to say K2 can't be your favorite shooter of the generation, just stop trying to present it as objective
