Finally got it and played for a few hours so that means I can comment on it right? hehe
It is very fun. Am I the only one who was expecting more out of the graphics? Maybe it was all the hype here on the boards. Don't get me wrong, looks awsome, was just expecting more.
The playstyle seems to be taylor made for me. I usually run stop, clear, run stop clear, ect... when i play a FPS. Could be why I am enjoying it so much. Fits just right.
I liked the part in the tank. I hope there is more later on.
Aiming is a pain in the ass. I am getting a bit use to it now, but an option for a sticky lock in the single player would have been nicem, the kind where if you slowly curser over a target it will stick when you are pretty much on. (maybe just have it on the lower difficulty settings, I can see why some people would get upset with it)
I am glad they put an objective locater in, alla dead space.
Hated the default controls, messed around with a couple of the other settings, found one that works, will see if i can custom map them later.
I do not like the pause for micro loads. I almost wish they had implemented a HDD install or a longer load in various spots. I have always hated how a game can be engrossing, then suddenly you have a 1 to 2 sec pause that throws you out a bit.
Online coop would have made this much much better. I don't care about split screen, prefer having the TV to myself on these types.
All in all, it is a very good game. Not the greatest, but very top notch. One I will keep in my PS3 for a good while.
