Besides it being pretty fugly it look like its more comfortable and it fixes complaints. People bitched about the analog sticks being too close. Now they're father apart. They complained about the shoulder buttons being too small at least the ZL and ZR buttons. Now they're bigger and seperate. People complained about the size. Its bigger now and while it looks ugly it looks like it might be comfortable.

Like the DSi people love to bitch and moan about more options.

can this thing play gamecube games? only then would i consider it an improvement.

I never complained about the first one, I don't have one.

I will probably buy an old one eventually because playing F-Zero X with the GC controller is awful due to the analogue shoulder buttons.

the first seemed fine to me, only thing i didn't like was it couldn't play gamecube games. i don't have any wavebirds and since going wireless i hate the wire of gc controller.

so if this allows gamecube games to be played then thats awesome

This^^, has all the buttons so I really hope it can. Having cord come out the top instead of the bottom is big improvement too imo.

I dont think this is gonna play GCN games.

I originally thought you could play GCN games with CC and save GCN games on Wii Memory.......I was wrong.

Does it still have to be plugged into the wii remote. If so it's not improved to much.

The classic controller (and assumedly this too) have digital shoulder buttons, not analog.

This looks comfortable to mem I might get this one to plat Super Mario World properly.

That's why I will probably buy one eventually.

And no it won't play GC games... the Wii changes when you put in a GC disc, it essentially performs exactly as a GameCube. Which is why you can't get back to the Wii menu without turning it off... and pressing the reset button still keeps it on GC mode.
