So last night I stayed up pretty late trying to finish Bioshock. I got to the point where I thought the game was going to end, watched what I thought was going to be an incredibly lame ending, got surprised, and was happy to find out that the game had more to it (though I was upset I didn't beat it that night). So I play a little longer but was too tired and had work in the morning so I put off beating the game. Flash forward to tonight I play and I get to what I'm guessing is really close to the ending. I stop and start doing research and making sure that I got all the little sisters (for some odd reason it always says I have a little sister left in the Neptune's Landing even though I don't). I finally get tired of looking for little sisters and I did all the research I wanted to do so I decide to finally go what I assumed was the final area. And then this happened. FUCK! I let it sit there for a minute listening to the horrible beating sound the game is making, reset, thank God the game has an autosave, and try again. Same thing happens. FUCK FUCK! I turn off my 360 for about 15 minutes and try again and it still happens. I was so ready to beat this game, write a nice review (had some problems but was going to give it somewhere in the 9.4 - 9.6 range), and get Metroid Prime 3 tomorrow but now I can't and I'm pissed. I assume I'll be able to just trade in the copy (if I can find the Circuit City receipt which I don't think I can) but that doesn't change the fact I hate show stopper bugs. I was so prepared to play this game one or two more times just so I can do everything but now I just don't know if I want to spend the effort. Maybe after I sleep on it I'll be a little less upset but show stopper bugs just in general make me angry.
